Rescuing Wisdom 
In 2018 I founded Rescuing Wisdom, a social service initiative that advocates for elderly responsibility through philanthropy. Rescuing Wisdom works with numerous old age homes in India and supports their operations through partnerships and fundraising.
To expand Rescuing Wisdom’s reach, I’ve facilitated multiple partnerships to benefit local old age homes, raised over 1.5 Million Rupees to support their operations, and continue to fund the organisation’s work through the sale of my book, "The Knife’s Edge". For my work with Rescuing Wisdom, I’ve received multiple national and international awards.
- Government of India via Tihar Jail, the largest prison in Southeast Asia, to help the elderly inmates find a home after their release.
- Venu Eye Institute and Research Center to sponsor eye camps, cataract surgeries, and glasses for the elderly.
- The National Center on Elder Abuse (USA), to spread the message about saying No to Elder Abuse.
- Feed the Need, to organize a Satsang and regular langar at old age homes.
- Saregama India Ltd. to provide Carvaan Music Players to old age homes, aiding them to provide recreational facilities to their residents.
- ForIndia2020, an initiative that sells cloth masks during the Coronavirus pandemic and provides all the funds to the organization.
- Donated emergency rescue vehicle, equipped with medical equipment, to rescue abandoned elderly from the streets.
- Donated 4 air conditioners, to help residents of the old age home escape the blistering heat.
- Sponsored eye camps and cataract surgeries, as well as other miscellaneous medical expenses.
- Launched student volunteer Buddy Programme, that encourages young people to volunteer at old age homes.
- Created 'Adopt an Elder' sponsorship campaign, through which donors can cover the annual cost of food and medicine for an elderly resident.
- COVID 19 relief work, including raising funds for old age homes to pay for sanitizing and other added expenses.
- Helped senior citizens in South Delhi pay their utility bills during the first lockdown.
Rescuing Wisdom invites students of all ages to volunteer at old age homes. We are currently working closely with Guru Vishram Vridh Ashram, and your active presence here would mean the world to its residents.
For those who would like to contribute in other ways, please consider donating to the cause. You can help us purchase groceries or medicines for the abandoned elderly, or even adopt an elderly by paying for their stay and general well-being at the Ashram.You could also help by purchasing the beautiful candles hand made by our elderly residents and marketed under the business line Wicks of Life.
