Eco Nourish
Service trips to rural communities and an internship with a hydroponics firm opened my eyes to the growing need for sustainable, locally-grown produce, especially in India's urban areas. As city-dwellers were becoming more conscious of healthy eating and the sources of their food, I recognized the potential for a social startup.
I created Eco Nourish to promote organically-grown hydroponic produce in commercial establishments like hotels and restaurants, and also introduce urban agriculture among households. For these two verticals, I collaborated with a local hydroponic farm to source produce, and create a small home hydroponic setup suitable for balcony and rooftop gardens. Through these efforts, our goal is to help people reconnect with their food sources, and live healthier lives.
